Zeiss Horizon Anamorphic Lenses Feature Built-In Motors

Zeiss has launched its new Horizon Anamorphic series, a collection of seven full-frame prime lenses designed for professional filmmakers. These lenses offer a 2x squeeze factor and a strong oval bokeh. A key innovation is the fully motorized design, integrating focus and iris motors directly into the lens barrel, eliminating the need for external motors and simplifying rigging. Additionally, the lenses feature an interchangeable rear element that allows cinematographers to adjust contrast, sharpness, and overall character without affecting scale accuracy. The series includes focal lengths from 35mm to 200mm, all with a 114mm front diameter, and dual displays for live focus and iris values.
