DJI is preparing to launch its second-generation 360 camera, the Osmo 360 II, with an official announcement scheduled for September 3. This follows a teaser campaign that began earlier in the summer, initially for the Chinese market. Elsewhere, In 1996, Kodak, Fuji, Canon, Minolta, and Nikon jointly launched the Advanced Photo System (APS), a new film format developed in secret. The five companies invested approximately $1 billion in total, aiming for convenience without sacrificing image quality. Separately, The Panasonic Lumix L10 has been named the EISA Compact Camera 2026-2027, a significant achievement shortly after its May 2026 launch. This premium point-and-shoot model features a built-in Leica DC Vario-Summilux 3.
