SG-image has released its AF 35mm f/2.2 lens in a standard, non-retro version for L-mount cameras. This autofocus prime lens features a 7-element, 5-group optical design engineered for clarity and contrast, with a 9-blade diaphragm and f/2. Elsewhere, Recent data from Japan's Camera and Imaging Products Association (CIPA) indicates that full-frame photographers acquire nearly twice as many lenses as those using crop-sensor cameras. Separately, Lightroom's masking tools now feature two new sliders: feather and edge, designed to clean up imperfect selections around objects like trees and horizons.
