The Viltrox 28mm f/4.5 pancake lens, now available for L-mount, finally provides a suitably compact option for the Lumix S9, one of the smallest full-frame mirrorless cameras. This metal pancake lens, about the size of a lens cap, makes the S9 nearly pocketable. While its optical formula is unchanged from previous mounts, its pairing with the S9 addresses a key missing accessory at the camera's launch.
