Voigtländer has launched the APO-Lanthar 90mm F4 Close Focus VM, a new manual-focus prime lens designed for full-frame M-mount rangefinder cameras. This compact medium-telephoto lens features an apochromatic optical design for superior chromatic aberration correction and high resolution. Despite its advanced optics, the lens is notably small and lightweight, measuring 54.8mm and weighing 235g. It offers enhanced close-focusing down to 0.5m, exceeding typical rangefinder limits, and maintains image quality at close distances. The lens will be available in silver and black finishes with an all-metal barrel and includes a dedicated hood.
