Nikon's new Z5IIC camera removes the viewfinder

Nikon has launched the Z5IIC, a full-frame camera essentially based on the Z5II but without a viewfinder, priced competitively at $1,399.95. While the lack of an EVF may not deter creators who primarily use the rear screen, the camera's identity is questioned, as its 'casual' designation clashes with features like RAW video output and a relatively large body compared to competitors. Despite a downgraded rear screen resolution, the Z5IIC boasts a 24.5MP sensor, Expeed 7 processor, advanced autofocus, Imaging Recipes, and 7.5 stops of IBIS. Its success may hinge on markets like Japan, similar to the viewfinderless Z30.
