Stefan Falke's Mirror Technique Captures New York Street Scenes

Photographer Stefan Falke employs a hand-held mirror in his "Reflecting New York" series to capture street scenes from unexpected angles. By integrating distant buildings, structures, or other nearby elements into the primary photograph, Falke aims to create images that require a second look and offer a fresh perspective on familiar New York locations. His goal is to visually disrupt the obvious and produce surprising, intriguing visuals for the viewer. Falke was a finalist in the LensCulture Street Photography Awards 2025.
