L-Mount Alliance Expands with Freefly Systems

The L-Mount Alliance, a collaboration centered on Leica's L-Mount standard, has added Freefly Systems as its 11th member. Freefly, known for professional cinema gimbals, drones, and high-speed cameras, will integrate the L-Mount into its future product development. This move expands the ecosystem, which already includes over 20 cameras and 134 lenses from partners like Leica, Sigma, and Panasonic, all compatible across the alliance's offerings. The L-Mount's design prioritizes flexibility, robustness, and precise lens attachment, enabling compact camera construction and seamless electronic communication.
