Mirrorless / CAMERA REFERENCE

PEN

OM SYSTEM

Announced:

Late October 2026 availability planned.

The OM SYSTEM PEN adds a viewfinder and splash resistance to a small Micro Four Thirds body. Colour profiles and computational modes give it several ways to finish images in-camera. The 30fps headline requires care: continuous focus and exposure are locked at the fastest setting.

The 30fps setting locks focus and exposure, as reported by DPReview. Complete video frame-rate, crop and battery details have not yet been verified in the manual.

Reviews and field reports

Independent review, RAW testing pending

DPReview — OM System PEN review ↗

Richard Butler found attractive in-camera colour options and useful multi-shot modes, but subject recognition produced false positives during testing. Recognised subjects could override the selected focus point, so he advised being ready to intervene. At the checked update, final RAW-support-dependent studio results were still pending.
