The Pal 2 is a small digital camera that can send photographs to compatible instax printers and hybrid cameras. It does not contain a printer. Its 10MP capture mode is useful for USB transfer, while Bluetooth transfers use lower-resolution images.

The global Fujifilm specification page lists 87g and a 92.3mm body dimension; Digital Camera World lists 41g and 42.3mm. Weight and dimensions are omitted pending clarification of that conflict.

Grigonis enjoyed the physical controls and the choice of optical or top-screen framing. Her photographs showed limited detail and easily clipped highlights; exposure compensation helped. She also reported shutter lag, imperfect viewfinder framing and a battery warning after roughly 70 photographs.
