instax mini Evo Cinema

Fujifilm

Announced:

January launch; first retail dates vary by region.

The mini Evo Cinema combines digital photographs, short video clips and an instax mini printer. Its decade effects are applied during capture. A QR-linked print requires a phone to upload the video; Fujifilm keeps that playback available for two years from upload.

Reviews and field reports

Independent review

Scott Gilbertson · WIRED · review ↗

Gilbertson enjoyed the decade effects and the camera’s ease of use. He found the battery life limited and disliked having to confirm each clip before it was saved. Effects are baked into the video, so the original footage cannot be recovered.
