Production Camera 4K
Blackmagic Design
Announced:
Announced in April 2013; Blackmagic confirmed shipping on 10 February 2014. RAW availability depended on firmware.
A Super 35 sensor and global shutter distinguished the Production Camera 4K from the earlier 2.5K Cinema Camera. The global shutter captured the whole frame at once, avoiding the skew associated with line-by-line readout.
