Atomos, a company recognized for its on-camera monitors, is expanding its reach into the professional desktop monitor sector through the acquisition of Flanders Scientific (FSI). Elsewhere, GoPro has launched its new Mission series of cinema-grade cameras, including the Mission 1, Mission 1 Pro, and Mission 1 Pro ILS, all featuring one-inch sensors. However, the pricing for these models has not yet been disclosed. Separately, Adobe Premiere Pro has launched Color Mode, a significant update described as an "application-sized" release and the "largest in Premiere history." This new feature aims to make color grading more accessible, moving away from complex, mathematical systems towards a more intuitive interface with bi-directional tools and customizable heads-up displays.
